Some
couple of years ago we asked a major gas supplier for ducted heating to
be installed under the floor of our home. At that time we were told it
was not possible, and in any case would be very expensive. Full stop!
By
chance in July this year we were recommended to Scott Walker of
Mountain High Heating - in Katoomba. Scott arrived on a Saturday
morning to assess the feasibility and work we wanted. Installation of
under house ducted heating for Mountain High Heating was not a problem
at all.
Within a day or so we had
a firm quote covering all the aspects we wanted and more, and within
our budget. A little over a week later Scott installed a 15kw unit with
four outlets with a capability of extending to the kitchen once further
renovation is complete.
From the
start, Mountain High Heating were professional, prompt, pleasant and
courteous. The work meant pushing through double Besser block brick, in
places. The end result is we have ducted heating installed and for the
first time
we have enjoyed a comfortable warmth throughout the house.

that we have had ducted gas heating installed and it is wonderful.
Winter is mostly over and it has been our warmest winter yet inside the
house.. no more chopping or splitting firewood, cleaning ashes,

I have several Bed and Breakfast's in the
Blue Mountains. Recently I had guests call after hours to say the
central heating wasn't working. As it was late in the night and
freezing temperatures outside being Winter, I was in a state of panic
that my guests would probably have to check out and I would not only
lose the income but have to accommodate them somewhere else!
I googled and found 'Mountain High' Heating. I frantically called the
number and to my amazement a friendly voice was on the other end asking

couldn’t be happier! After years of chopping and carting wood we
instead come home to a warm house even after being away for several
days or we can heat our house almost instantly yet still utilise wood

Hi Scott,
Just got our bill for the last quarter (winter) - this was the first
full bill we've had, as you replaced our heater just before the last
account came. Our winter bill has always been around $700 - typically
$680 to $720. This time... $450!! We have had the heater running on a
timer so that it goes on before we wake up, and runs as needed. Plus
we've had quite a few days with sick kids etc so have needed to run it
all day during the week. So that's a really impressive saving. Thought
you might like to know how much an efficient heater could save your
customers.

We'd been in our house for 5 years and
never felt that the heating system was working as well as it could, as
the bedrooms were always quite cold. We asked Scott to take a look at
the system and he advised that the airflow was not working as well as
it should. He promised to fix it for us and to give us extra vents in
the bathrooms to provide heat to those rooms. Now we have a much warmer
and more comfortable home.Putting new vents through bathroom
tiles was a messy job, but Scott left everything clean and tidy
afterwards.
